Test Setup

We test Intel mainstream CPUs using MSI's MEG Z390 Ace along with 16GB (2 x 8GB) of Corsair 3,000MHz DDR4 Vengeance memory, NZXT's 140mm Kraken X42 liquid-cooler, and a Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Amp! Edition. Where possible, the same hardware, memory speed, and timings are used across all our systems to ensure the results are as comparable as possible.
